It has snowed here in Statesville for the 3rd time this year! Can you believe it??!! That just goes to show you that is does snow in the South!LOL! I took some pics of the horses and landscape. it was just gorgeous with the sun beating down and the new fallen fluff! It looked like someone tossed out a zillion diamonds on the ground.The horses just love it too. They like to make "horse" angels in the snow! Tooo funny.Hope ya enjoy the pics

Hi eveyone! Yesterday was a pretty busy day as every Saturday is! Taylor's Volleyball team had 2 games and the other JV team had 1. Our Sports Association held a pancake breakfast as a fundraiser too. My day started at 6 am and ended at 1 am! The night ended with me taking Taylor and 3 friends to a Haunted Trail! NEVER again! But I am working vigorously to get my Black Santa done. For he will be put into a pattern! Yippee! and a snowman too. For right now I have 2 dollies on E-bay that would love a new home!One is wearing a cotton childs dress from the turn-of-the century! The both end on Thursday Oct.8th. Thanks for peeking! Well this Gal was supposed to be listed last night. See I use Vendio to list my items, very fast for me, and when I went to launch this doll I didn't pay attention to see if she had listed. Not until I spoke with a friend, an hour later, that I was told it had not showed up on E-bay! Yep I guess E-bay has some NEW policy about handling descriptions on you auction listing. Well of course I didn't know and when I found out it was to late to try to fix it! You know why are they always fixing things that aren't broke??!!!! Happy Mother's Day everyone!! I woke up this morning went out to the deck and just thanked the Lord up above for the day! What a Be-a-u-tiful day it is too! The sun is a shining and not a cloud in the sky. I don't think we are going anywhere today? I would rather stick around and work in the yard and watch the baby red fox play on the hill. Yes we have a den with 7 babies. They are about 6 weeks old I would guess. I had taken some pics a couple days ago and couldn't get them loaded. But voila! I have them now! I did call the wildlife dept. in Raliegh because I was afraid of them being rabid. The young gentleman assured me that they were not. If they had they would not have survived over 48 hrs. I was so relieved! They are so flippin cute! They romp and jump just like dogs. I did get about 5 ft. away from them and the just stared at me. The Mother and the Father have been seen as well. I also read that they will stay with thier Mother until fall.The young man said that they would probably leave soon so enjoy them and not feed or try to pet them. DARN !!! I also have a pic my red fox (Simba) and my precious little sweetie Taylor.What hams huh? Then I snapped one of Lightening, our visiting mini, swapping kisses with our neighbor's mare through the fence! Isn't that funny!

Well I shall babble no further and wish you all, again, a very Happy and Relaxing Mother's Day!!

I have been such a bad blogger! Well as far as dollies go haven't made to many. I do have some in the works hopefully will get a couple listed on E-bay! I have really been doing alot of yard work. Oh yeah then there was Taylor and her tonsil surgery......and...... my Mom was here for 2 weeks..... and then we had Taylor's belated Birthday party.So I have been really busy !I am really thinking it's time to do Hallowe'en!! Anybody else with me?? Before you know it the Holidays ,Hallowe'en and Christmas, will be upon us once again. I guess I should geat my butt in gear! Hi everyone! it's been awhile since I have blogged..hee.hee..I'm sure you haven't noticed! Well Taylor had Strep 3 times between Feb. and March ! Soooooo she had to have her tonsils taken out on April the 2nd. Now she is feeling much better! Her tonsils were huge!! Kissing tonsils is what the Doc called them.Anyway with that and trying to get my yard and gardens in order I haven't been creating that much. But I did manage to finish my Black Uncle Sam for the April update of PFATT !! Lots of painting and stichin!There's a pic below of him.

I also want to give a big shout out to Kimmy of Prims by Kim for the wonderful Angel painting that I won on her Blog giveaway a couple of weeks ago. I'm sorry I didn't get back to ya!! It is sooooooo sweet and has found it's place in Taylor's room. Well I must go and feed the ponies and get back to work in the yard or should I say acreage!I will be ,hopefully, adding some new creations on E-bay here in the next couple of weeks!!

Who says it doesn't snow in Statesville, North carolina? We had a Winter Blast come through our area Sunday about 7 pm. It snowed for several hours and I'm talking huge flakes! By morning we had about 6" of white fluff! The trees had ice and snow covering them.My daughters pony and our mini horse friend played tag and made snow angels ! it was quite humerous! Gunner dog had a blast too! It is just about gone now waiting until next year to come back and visit.Here's a few pics of Taylor and gunner. Since we live in the South we don't own much "snow" gear or a sled so we improvised with a garbage bag to ride down the small inclines at the house! What fun!!!

O.K. it's about an hour or so to kickoff! The sloppy joes are on, the spinach dip is chilling, I will put the hot beef dip on in about 45 min., Calling the wing order in soon as I Blog! Oh yeah the beer and Sangria are chilling too! I'm sure I have Mmssed something but oh well I'm sure we will find it as soon as we start to stuff our faces!

As I type this It brings back memories of my Brother, friends,family and I sitting in front of the TV screaming for the greats like Franco, Terry, Lynn, and Mean Joe Green just to name a few. Now I have my daughter screaming "Go Ben"!! and my husband is hollaring "catch it Hines"!!

I posted some pics below. Terry Bradshaw of course took the Steelers to 4 Superbowls and took home a ring everytime. Now it's Ben and company trying to accomplish the same.I wish you the BEST my Steelers! As for the Cardinals....hold onto your helmets and your A@# !!

I have been a Pittsburgh Steelers fan since I was 7 years old! I grew up in Youngstown, Ohio which is one hour from Downtown Pittsburgh.I'm sure this sounds cliche but there is nothing like a Steelers fan. I can't believe that they are going again! I'm so excited I can't stand myself! I want to go to Tampa and If I can get my neighbor to go we are on our way to the Super Bowl!! Well if you didn't know it....YES I am a HUGE Elvis fan! I grew up on Elvis and have made several visits to Graceland. Elvis Presley, in my opinion, was and still is one of the greatest icons in music history. There is no doubt he brought forth what we call Rock & Roll hence the nickname "King of Rock-n-Roll".He would have been 74 today.Not only was he a singer and entertainer but a man with many awards to many to mention. He was a very giving person as well with charities and strangers benifiting from his success.Below are some pics to celebrate his birthday and one of his famous quotes.He recited this in a speech while accepting an award in 1971:

"I learned very early in life that, `without a song, the day would never end; without a song, a man ain't got a friend; without a song, the road would never bend -- without a song.' So I keep singing a song...."

Man talk about running behind! See that ole sinus infection that I thought was causing my teeth to ache well........that turned into a ROOT CANAL!!! Oh yes my friends! Here's the thing I had just had these 2 top mollars filled about 7 weeks ago.I had some issues with them after the fact but just blew it off.I had NO problems prior to these getting filled.So low and behold go to the Dentist that filled them and he says I need a root canal or extraction. He said he would go with the first. Easy for him to say since I'm such a Hypochondriac! Well had this procedure done on the 25th.So...right now I guess I'm doing ok and I found a NEW Dentist to make the crown and to fill the other 2 cavities I have.OMG!!! Don't wish this on anyone!So as far as creating I fianlly got these pieces done which had been sitting and staring at me for the past week or so!They are on E-bay and will end on Thursday the 4th.Now I'm off to finish some more pieces and get my Ornie swap for PFATT packaged up. My Christmas Tree is up YAY ME !!!!!!!!

Some may think it may be to earlier to decorate for the Christmas season but it just doesn't last long enough! I had bought a new tree a 9ft one and the spot I wanted to place it in wasn't going to work hmmmmmmmmm could it be that my dear hubby didn't want to move the TV armoire??? Sooooo we resized it to a 7ft. tree which is still just as sweet! Taylor helped decorate it.Then we put our lights up outside.Still a couple more things to do but the tree is the biggest project.I think Santa will be able to find his way don't ya think? Here is a pic of Gunner dog with his antlers on! He wants to be Santa's lead reindeer! If you read this Santa gunner says he would work for bones and a bite of mac-n-cheese! He is the sweetest dog! I was searching for some misplaced ornaments yesterday and came across this photo of Christmas 1971. This is my Mother,myself,and brother Billy.We lived in Ohio at the time. Back then it used to snow like crazy! You were guarunteed several feet of snow when it happened. As kids we would be out of school for days on end. We would go to our local park and use those giant truck inertubes and fly down these monsterous hills! My Father always had several snowmobiles and we would ride those with him and the neighbors.What fun!!!!!Hey check out that television in the background! Too funny huh? MEMORIES!!! Yes ,I would have loved to have posted these pics last night but.....after Trick or Treat and watching Ghost Hunters most of the night I was wiped out!!! These are just a few pics of Taylor and one of Taylor with Gunner! She was,if you haven't guessed, a Pirate !!! She had a blast running to all of the houses gathering candy and such! We ended up at the end of the night at our local Chick-a-fila. One of the churches here in town host thier Trunk or Treat there every year.Did anyone else here in Blogland watch Ghost Hunters?? Let's see it's been about a week now since I won this painting! I have been following this gal for a while and bid on alot of her work. I just had to have this one! It depicts a herd of sheep being watched by a collie. it so reminds me of my dog Gunner although he is an Australian shepard! The colors are so rich! She is absolutley so talented.You must check her out! She paints reproductions of 17 and 1800's paintings. I had started these creatures a week or so ago then put them aside.As usual went back had a vision and Voila! I finished them!! Now they are both on E-bay. Something a little different a mix of cloth ,paint, and paper.HI have a couple more in the works and some snow people too! Hope ya likey!!

I managed to get these creations listed this evening. We were running around with our heads cut off getting ready for the first day of school. Boy I have to hand it to you bloggers that can keep up with your sites! Geez Louise! I have been running around the country since July! wasn't able to offer any new goods for marketplace or Spooky Time Jingles! But have no FEAR my fellow Prim friends I will have pieces for September for sure! These pics were from our camping trip over the weekend. This was in Franklin N.C. A friend of my husbands own several hundreds of mountainous acres there and let us use his campsites on the river. It was Taylor's first time roughing it. She had a blast! She fished and caught 2 trout.We went Gem mining and she "mined" a beautiful emerald! along with some other precious and non precious stones. All in All it was a wonderful trip!

The pic of the stocking is what I have up on e-bay right now it sorta of has a vintage feel. I used photos of Antique diecuts to make the dolls.Hope to have some more pieces to offer on Sunday or Monday night.

I also wanted to share the WONDERFUL piece that I did purchase off of Spooky Time Jingles this month. That's the pic ofthe Santa comming out of the chimney! this piece was created buy Artist Laurie Hardin. She is soooo talented! OMG....was so happy to get one of her pieces! Wow I am finally finished with the July Pfatt Marketplace offering and the NEW site's, Spooky Time Jingles, offering. Thought I would have at least 2 more but it just didn't pan out! Anyway the snow girl will be on Marketplace on the 10th. The Pumpkin witch will be available on the 13th! I am now getting ready for my trip to the big M.O. to see my grammy! She is 86 young! We will then travel to Ohio to drop Mom off and stay a couple days.When I get back it will almost be time for school! Can you believe it???? Well I better get to gettin!! I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! We actually went to see the fireworks here in Statesville last night. Today we went to out neighbors to swim and have a cookout. These are the peeps with the mini horses. They had thier last baby on July 2nd! How exciting! Yes, I will get pics as soon as I can! I finished up an order 2 days ago and had time to finish this wonderful PRIM Pumkin Angel for E-bay. She will be listed this evening and run for 5 days. I now have to concentrate on finishing items for PFATT and the new site Spooky Time Jingles. Then I'm off to the mid-west to visit my Grandma in MO. It's always a treat to go with my Mom, Taylor, and of course Gunner. I hope to stop in Memphis to visit Graceland. Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE Elvis!!!! Taylor is now old enough to appreciate his home and all there is to see! So we will see what happens.....O.K. until next time..........

Well it's almost the first of the month which means that the PFATT MArketplace will be having thier Christmas in July!! Yes it's gonna be a "Holly Jolly Christmas".I a really trying to have several pieces done for this...again the key word is trying! I did manage to list my first Hallowe'en doll on Ebay! She is just adorable and so Prim with her hooked scaredy cat rug. Well I must go and get something done before I have to take Taylor to get her hair trimmed. Have a great weekend!

Hi folks! It's been along time! Well i have been so busy! School is out and I had tons of yard work to contend with! LOL!! Of course making my dollies! I hope all is well in blogland! I have been trying to visit some blogs here and there going to try to do better. Anyway I have some pics to share! My wonderful daughter Taylor with one of our feline friends Simba, my beautiful fountain with trailing petunias and that crazy monkey grass! Oh that stuffs grows like wild fire! The last pic is of 3 of my kitty's and my fluffy dog gunner. They all sat under that tree and let me take that pic. What a hoot! There are 2 kitty's missing Callie and Sidney.Sid was rolling in the grass and Callie is to afraid to come out!

Besides being an Artist I have been an avid horsewoman from childhood. For several years I raised Quarter Horses and Paints and trained, showed and sold them. When we moved to North Carolina, 2 years ago and bought this mini farm ,bought a Paint gelding before I even had everything unpacked!!LOL!! We sold him and I bought another plus a quarter pony for my daughter (RICKY).So......right now we just have Ricky and we borrow mini horse friends for him to keep him company. Our nieghbors havea mini farm across the road.They are just a hoot to watch run an play! I have 2 minis right now, Ity Bitty and Devine. Devine is the brown and white. I posted some pics and also caught gunner in the mix.He's always herding his friends! Ricky is the big sorrel.

Well the New Year is here and I have sooo many ideas! The pic I have here is a partial photo of my office/work room! The BIG fluffy thing you see sitting ontop of one of my work tables is my Australian Shepard "Gunner". No he's not a small dog by no means! He wieghs in at about 75 big ones! He keeps me company along with my furry felines. When they all get together it's like a circus! They chase each other and drag fabric and what nots out and fling them everywhere! Pretty cute till you have to clean up! Keep an eye out for new works on E-bay! Hey if you visit this blog leave a comment would LOVE to hear from ya!!

I am so proud to let everyone know in cyberspace about my friend Christy Meyer's newest endeavor! She was approached several months ago by Ashton-Drake to create a set of ornaments. The theme...." The Wizard of Oz." Well it has all come to fruition! Her beautiful ornaments are availbale to purchase. There are 3 out right now but more to come!! I think there will be 12 in all! One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family. On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?" "It was great, Dad." "Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked. "Oh yeah," said the son. "So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father. The son answered: "I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them." The boy's father was speechless. Then his son added, "Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are." Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have. Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends! Pass this on to friends and acquaintances and help them refresh their perspective and appreciation. "Life is too short and friends are too few."
